In the Bible, four separate writers ("evangelists") tell us about the events of Jesus' life:  Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John.  These writings eventually came to be known as "Gospels". It is customary to read one Gospel at a time, from beginning to end; but few people take the time to read all four Gospels side-by-side. In fact, some New Testament scholars assert that the Gospels are hopelessly irreconcilable when read this way.

The goal of this course is to give you an in-depth understanding of Jesus and his teachings, by going through all four Gospels simultaneously, line-by-line, helping you to feel as if you are walking alongside Him during his time on earth. We will pay special attention to how early Christians interpreted the Gospels and dealt with difficulties that they encountered.

Michael lives in Woodstock, Georgia with his beautiful wife Kim and three children under the age of 12. He spent four years on active duty in the United States Air Force serving as the lead singer for their premier country & classic rock band. In this capacity, he performed for the President, Supreme Court Justices, and the highest-ranking members of the military. He also toured throughout Iraq, Afghanistan, Northern Africa, and Southwest Asia entertaining deployed troops. During his deployment, he was privileged to visit the oldest monastery in Iraq (c. 6th century) before it was destroyed by iconoclastic militants. Michael earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. During his studies, he developed a love for Church History and the writings of ancient Christians. He loves exploring the history of biblical interpretation.
